Description of Construction Contract Works: The Works comprises of Construction Contract of the eight (8) New Schools of the 20 Schools & two (2) New Kindergartens located on different sites around Doha and in Villages divided in three (3) Packages (noting that site locations & Pin numbers can be changed without any cost impact) as follows: 1. Package 3 (Al Wakra): 1. School No. 17 – Wakra Elementary Girls School (PIN 90041182). 2. School No. 18 – Wakra Preparatory Girls School (PIN 90041183). 3. School No. 19 – Wakra Model School (PIN 90041184). 2. Package 5 (Al Asiri): 1. School No. 06 – Ali Bin Abi Taleb Preparatory Boys School (PIN 40374002). 2. School No. 07 – Ali Bin Abi Taleb Secondary Boys School (PIN 40374001). 3. School No. 20 – Nusaiba Bint Kaab Elementary Girls School (PIN 56040029). 3. Package 6 (Al Asiri/Khalifa): 1. School No. 08 – Istiklal Elementary Girls School & Kindergarten (PIN 40304001) 2. School No. 12 – Qatar Elementary Girls School & Kindergarten (PIN 32290014). The Works comprises of construction, completion and maintenance of eight (8) new school & two (2) new kindergarten buildings with external services including external sports fields, car parking together with landscaping, boundary wall and ancillary buildings and associated external services Works. The buildings are of reinforced/pre-cast concrete structures with blockwork infill. The multipurpose hall and assembly hall of the school buildings are covered with space frame/structural steel structure and roof cladding system. Supporting Information All relevant drawings and documentation currently held by Building Affairs are available for inspection within the Building Affairs. The Tender/Contract documents for the Construction Contract are deemed to form part of the documentation and information, the Tenderer must address when preparing his Tender. Other Information The Engineer may employ a Project Management (PM) Consultant to manage the Construction and Consultancy Contracts of the Education Projects Department of Building Affairs. The Consultant shall coordinate with the PM Consultant and provide any information required and/or carry out instructions of PM as directed by the Engineer.
